Ingredients
  

  • 6 apples peeled & sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp cornstarch gluten free
  • 1 cup gluten free oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or coconut oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease baking dish.
  2. Toss apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch. Place in dish.
  3. Mix oats, almond flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread topping over apples.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Make it Vegan: Swap butter for coconut oil or vegan butter.
  • Nut-Free Option: Use gluten free all-purpose flour instead of almond flour.
  • Extra Crunch: Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts to the topping.
