Ingredients
  

  • 6 large apples peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Toss sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Place in Crock Pot.
  2. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  3. Sprinkle topping over apples.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours or LOW for 3–3½ hours.
  5. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
