Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup apple cider spiced or plain
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ tsp powdered gelatin
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • Optional topping: whipped cream caramel drizzle, or spiced apple slices

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 3 tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream, milk, sugar, and apple cider. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm (do not boil).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly into ramekins or serving glasses.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  7. Garnish with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, or spiced apple slices before serving.
