Follow these simple steps to buy any book from Spotify
- Open up your Spotify app on mobile, desktop, or the web
- Move to the search space/Icon then click on it
- Search for the audiobook(s) you wish to purchase or buy, you can search for specific titles or genres As you type out your search you’ll see an Audiobooks filter button appear underneath that will narrow down your results.
- Click or tap on an audiobook to see more information about it: a description, user reviews, how much it costs, the running time, and who narrated the story.
- Select Get or Buy to purchase and download an audiobook.
- Once the payment has gone through, the audiobook will be available in Your Library.
Once you are done with the purchase, the title shows up in your library and it’s ready to listen to. Any titles saved to your library that haven’t yet been purchased will have a padlock icon next to them. The padlock disappears when you buy the audiobook on Spotify.
Note that buying an audiobook works separately from a Spotify Premium membership subscription. audiobooks are handled separately.
The good news for premium memberships is that the Premium subscribers get 15 hours’ worth of audiobooks for free each month. These books can be chosen from a large selection, though it’s not the entire library. The offer is live now in the UK and Australia and is coming to the US in a few months to come.
